Native People of Thunder Bay Development Corporation has an immediate opening for the following position:
TENANT RELATIONS / PLACEMENT WORKER
(Contract with intention of full-time permanent employment)
This role will act as a liaison between tenants and the various office departments involved in providing tenant services. Reporting to the Housing Manager, the candidate will be responsible to enforce Native People of Thunder Bay Development Corporation (NPTBDC) Housing Policies; establish an applicant base; offer support services to tenants and families; establish a network of contacts to which tenants can be referred to; and assist tenants in budgeting and home maintenance. They will receive and respond to requests, complaints, issues and inquiries from tenants and employees; also will be responsible to educate tenants on NPTBDC Housing Policies and Programs, and their rights and responsibilities as it pertains to their tenancy.
- Working Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Fully in-office role, no regular remote work available.
